    About EcoLet™

Practical Swedish-designed dry toilet solutions for New Zealand off-grid, tiny home, and backup toilet applications.

EcoLet™ is a family of self-contained dry toilet systems designed to reduce water use while keeping day-to-day operation simple. Within the WCTNZ® range, EcoLet™ includes the continuous composting EcoLet 25a and EcoLet 65a, together with the urine-diverting Separera Mini UD-C and Separera Mini UD-S.

The 25a and 65a are automatic, continuous composting systems. They combine airflow, heat, and automatic mixing to help process waste inside the unit itself. The Separera Mini models take a different approach by separating liquids from solids at the bowl, making them compact, low-water alternatives for tighter spaces and simpler urine-diversion layouts.

For New Zealand customers, WCTNZ® supports the EcoLet™ range with local supply, installation guidance, operating advice, consumables, and after-sales support. This matters because dry toilet performance depends heavily on correct setup, ventilation, suitable operating conditions, and using the system as intended.

    EcoLet™ product families

    • EcoLet 65a: larger self-contained continuous composting toilet for up to 4 full-time users.

    Where EcoLet™ suits best

The EcoLet™ range is well suited to off-grid homes, tiny homes, cabins, sleepouts, workshops, and sites where water saving or independence from conventional plumbing is important. The right model depends on user numbers, installation space, power supply, and whether you want continuous composting or urine diversion.

    What to expect

EcoLet™ systems are designed to be practical rather than complicated. They still require normal setup, ventilation, bulking material, and routine care, but they avoid the daily water demand of a flush toilet and can work well in the right setting when installed and operated correctly.
