    About Passway™

    Passway™ Logo About Page

Passway™ grease traps are designed for one job: to capture fats, oils and grease (FOG) and stop them reaching your drains, septic system, or public wastewater network. In the real world, that means fewer blockages, fewer call-outs, and a much cleaner, more predictable kitchen wastewater system—especially where cooking oils, dairy, sauces, and food solids are part of daily operations.

For New Zealand homes and commercial kitchens alike, grease management isn’t just “nice to have”. When FOG travels downstream it cools and congeals, sticking to pipe walls, trapping food particles, and building restrictions that eventually become overflows, odours, and costly repairs. A properly selected grease trap creates a dedicated capture point so FOG can be removed routinely—before it becomes a plumbing problem or an environmental liability.

Passway™ grease traps are purpose-built to be serviceable. They use internal separation and a removable basket approach so cleaning can be performed on a schedule that suits the site (by the operator, trained staff, or a contractor). This is what keeps performance stable over time: steady separation, predictable servicing, and simple inspection access rather than hidden, hard-to-maintain components.

The Passway™ grease management range includes options suited to different site scales and installation constraints—everything from compact setups where space is tight, through to higher-demand commercial kitchens that need a more robust grease interception solution. The goal is always the same: dependable FOG capture without creating a maintenance headache.
