    BioSure Professional Installation Overview

    Plan the application before installation

Water quality, hydraulics, electrical supply and application requirements all matter

BioSure Professional covers several different equipment families, so there is no single installation arrangement that applies across the complete range.

Installation starts by confirming the exact BioSure model, application and operating conditions, then using the current model-specific documentation supplied for that equipment.

    Before installation

    Confirm the Water

Identify the water source, filtration, TDS or conductivity, hardness and temperature where these influence the selected model.

    Confirm the Hydraulics

Check required flow, pressure, pipe size, connections and the location of upstream or downstream treatment equipment.

    Confirm the Electrical Supply

Use the correct supply, adaptor and electrical arrangement specified for the model being installed.

    Typical installation types

WDS Series: installed in-line within a compatible water system. Selection is affected by water quality, flow, pressure and required treatment output.

WTO Series: submersible treatment equipment installed within a compatible water-storage tank, with operating time matched to tank volume and application.

Portable and equipment-hygiene products: generally operate as dedicated appliances or point-of-use systems and should follow their individual instructions.

Air and odour systems: selection and installation take account of room volume, occupancy, ventilation and intended operating mode.

OWS and G Series: larger commercial systems requiring project-specific integration around water supply, hydraulics, treatment duty, controls and monitoring.

    New Zealand installation support

Plumbing & potable water: where equipment forms part of a building water supply, the installation can be considered alongside New Zealand Building Code Clause G12 and the requirements relevant to the project.

Electrical supply: WCTNZ® considers the applicable New Zealand electrical requirements for the product configuration being supplied.

Before installation: confirm that the model number on the equipment matches the installation documentation. If the equipment, manual or model reference does not match, contact WCTNZ® before proceeding.

For New Zealand installation support, provide WCTNZ® with the BioSure model, intended application and available water-quality information.
