BioSure Professional Maintenance Instructions

BioSure Professional equipment is designed for ongoing service, but maintenance requirements vary between models and applications.

Water chemistry, operating hours and treatment conditions can materially affect the maintenance interval of an electrolytic ozone generator.

Generator cartridges & capsules

Selected WDS and WTO products use replaceable electrolytic ozone cartridges or generator capsules.

Current manufacturer documentation for applicable WDS and WTO models identifies service-life figures of up to approximately 1,000 operating hours for the relevant generator component, subject to model conditions and maintenance.

Descaling & water hardness

Mineral scale can affect electrolytic performance. BioSure documentation identifies periodic acid-cleaning or descaling requirements for applicable models where water hardness and operating conditions promote scale formation.

WTO documentation identifies periodic descaling around 400–500 operating hours where required by actual water characteristics. Applicable WDS “X” models may also require regular acid-cleaning maintenance.

Routine maintenance checks

• Confirm the water remains within the operating range specified for the model.
• Check flow and pressure where they affect product operation.
• Inspect accessible fittings, power leads and components for damage or leakage.
• Review accumulated operating hours where available.
• Carry out the model-specific descaling procedure when required.
• Investigate declining treatment performance rather than simply extending operating time.
• Maintain appropriate service records for commercial installations.

Before disposing of a generator, cartridge or other major service component, contact WCTNZ® with the model, serial number and replacement requirement.
