    WDS600X – Compact In-Line Aqueous Ozone Treatment

    Electrolytic waterline hygiene for filtered tap-water applications

    The BioSure Professional WDS600X is a compact in-line aqueous ozone water disinfection system designed to generate treatment directly within a filtered tap-water line.

    Using BioSure Professional's Electrolytic Ozone Generation (EOG) technology, the WDS600X produces active oxidising treatment from the water itself. This allows ozonated water to be generated on demand without the separate feed-gas preparation and conventional ozone-injection arrangement associated with many gas-fed ozone systems.

    The WDS600X provides a compact treatment option for point-of-use and equipment-hygiene applications where waterline biofilm, microbial loading and routine sanitation need to be managed within an existing water supply.

    Rated production 60 mg/hr*
    Aqueous output Up to 1.0 ppm
    Nominal flow 60–1,650 LPH
    Connections 1/2"

    Suitable Applications

    The WDS600X is suitable for a focused range of in-line water and equipment sanitation applications, including:

    • post-filtration water sanitation;
    • ice-machine waterline sanitation;
    • sanitary wash-down applications;
    • misting-system sanitation; and
    • selected dental unit waterline sanitation.

    Water Quality Requirements

    The WDS600X belongs to BioSure Professional's WDS “X” range developed for cold, clean filtered tap water.

    Electrolytic performance is influenced by source-water chemistry, so TDS, hardness, filtration, temperature, flow and pressure should be considered when selecting and commissioning the unit.

    Current BioSure Professional documentation identifies a minimum TDS above approximately 30 ppm for basic electrolytic performance, with an optimal TDS above 60 ppm for the WDS “X” range.

    Technical output: for WDS models carrying the “X” suffix, BioSure Professional states that the published production figure represents the combined oxidising power of the active oxidising substances generated, expressed as an ozone-equivalent value.

    Performance & Operating Range

    The WDS600X has a manufacturer-rated oxidising output of 60 mg/hr (±10%) and aqueous treatment output of up to 1.0 ppm under the stated operating conditions.

    The system operates across a nominal water-flow range of 60–1,650 litres per hour and a nominal operating pressure range of 0.5–7.0 kg/cm².

    The compact unit uses a 1/2" water connection arrangement and is powered through the supplied 100–240V AC power adaptor, with a rated electrical consumption of approximately 15W.

    Maintenance & Service Life

    The WDS600X uses a replaceable EOG cell cartridge with a manufacturer-listed operating life of approximately 1,000 operating hours, subject to the actual source-water conditions and operating environment.

    Mineral scale can affect electrolytic performance. Applicable BioSure Professional maintenance and descaling procedures should therefore be followed where hardness and operating conditions promote scale formation.

    Before disposing of an existing generator cartridge, contact WCTNZ® with the equipment model and serial number so any applicable replacement or manufacturer-remanufacturing arrangement can be confirmed.

    Conformity & Technical Evidence

    BioSure Professional documentation lists ISO, CE, NSF and RoHS conformity for the WDS Series, together with a US EPA Registered Establishment and EU Authorised Biocidal Product Manufacturer reference.

    The wider BioSure Professional WDS platform is also supported by technical documentation, application protocols and third-party efficacy evidence for selected systems and treatment conditions.

    New Zealand application support: WCTNZ® can assist with WDS600X selection around source-water quality, required flow, treatment duty, installation arrangement and the New Zealand requirements relevant to the intended application.
