How the camlock connection works
The camlock provides a quick removable connection between the composting chamber liquid drain outlet and the excess-liquid drain hose.
When a compatible composting chamber is in service, the drain connection is coupled to the outlet and hose. When the chamber is taken out of service, the connection can be released and the chamber outlet capped.

The camlock arrangement allows the liquid drain hose to be connected while the composting chamber is in service and disconnected when the chamber is removed from service.
