Please select the primary pedestal (toilet fixture) option you would like to accompany your composting system.

Note; that the Urine-Diversion (UD) pedestal option is most suitable where there is high use in peek or large family gatherings.

Note; that with Urine Diversion, it is recommended that the compost mass is kept wet to avoid the pile drying out. Consider getting the hand-held bidet sprayer accessory for facilitating the hydration of compost.

A hardwearing Nano-Ceramic Non-Stick Coating is applied onto the inner side of the Pedestal (toilet fixture) for maximum cleanliness.

Note; basic cleaning will still be required.

Note; non-stick is hydrophobic and repels liquids only.

If your user rating is higher than the capacity of the system choose additional chambers.

Choose additional chambers to increase the capacity of your system or to provide longer composting times where needed.

Choose additional heating to speed up or maintain the composting process or for colder climates (100watts @ 12 Volts DC)

For direct solar-powered options Use one 150 Watt Solar Panel (PV) with a 10amp Solar Controller. Use an on-off switch when heating is not desired.

Use a 150 Watt transformer (240 Volt AC to 12 Volt DC) supply to power your Heating Element Option

Use a 150 Watt transformer (240 Volt AC to 12 Volt DC) supply to power your Heating Element Option

If the underfloor height exceeds 1200mm (floor-to-floor), you will require additional lengths of the chute.

    *

Choose the fan voltage to match your power system. (Add additional fan units for replacement parts).

All ELV (Extra Low Voltage) (12v-48V) are suitable for Off-grid power systems.

    Vent stack kit for installation.

In residential applications, a vertical vent must extend 0.6m above the roofline - this is a code requirement.

    *

You may need additional vent materials depending on how many storeys your building has.

Single Storey buildings with a high-profile roof (A frame or mono-pitch) require extra lengths of vent pipe - add one 800mm Vent Pipe Extension

Double Storey buildings require extra lengths of vent pipe. Please add 4 x 1m Vent Pipe Extensions.

Double Storey building with a high-profile roof (A frame or mono-pitch) require extra lengths of vent pipe - add one 800mm Vent Pipe Extension

Kit for stepping the vent stack around the eaves of the roof. Allows you to avoid penetrating the roof.

A wind-driven vent offers the best redundancy for your system ventilation. The wind-driven vent will assist the fan under heavy wind conditions, keeping the system operational in the event of a power outage or fan failure.
SharkVent™ | Wind Ventilator has high efficiency with a linear wind direction windvane (good for storm-prone areas).
Universal Vent ACC | Wind-Driven Vent has high efficiency in low windage. 2 colours: white or black.

Select this reducing collar to adapt the vent from 150mm to 100mm.

Choose how you'd like to manage the liquid (leachate) produced by your composting toilet system:

    Discharge to Drain or Trench
Divert excess leachate to an approved soakage trench, drain field, or dispersal area. This option is suitable for most installations with available drainage capacity and may require a resource consent under the Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA), depending on your local council’s rules.

    Zero Discharge System (Reticulation)
Select our sealed zero-discharge system to recirculate leachate back into the composting chamber for evaporation or absorption. Since no liquid is discharged to land, water, or air, this option falls outside the scope of the RMA and typically does not require resource consent. Ideal for sensitive environments, remote sites, or areas with strict discharge regulations.

Run your leachate drain into a soak pit (vertical soak-away) or into a trench (horizontal soak-away).

System sizes with Automatic or Manual reticulation dosing cycle options
Automatic operations are on timer, and Manual operations are user-operated.

    Small 80L system - Suitable for a light-use system
    Large 450L system - Suitable for a heavy-use system

Extend your soft connection leachate drainpipe to reach your hard connection leachate drainpipe or soak-pit/trench.

Soft connections allow for flexible placement of the composting tank in relation to a hard connection or drain.

The system is packed with 1 meter of 25mm leachate drainpipe as a standard.

Extend your leachate drain via in-ground hard connection to reach your soak-pit/trench (soak-away).

Most soak-aways should be installed 3 meters away from the foundations of the structure but this remains circumstantial to the site.

    Product background

Larger batching capacity without a large underfloor tank

CM HP is designed for couples, families and residential projects that need greater composting capacity while still working with relatively limited underfloor space.

The batching format allows one chamber to be in service while another continues composting out of service.

    How it works

    Dual-chamber batch composting

    • One chamber is connected to the toilet pedestal and receives waste.
    • When required, the active chamber is changed for another chamber.
    • The removed chamber remains out of service while the compost continues to mature.
    • Additional chambers can be added where greater capacity or longer maturation time is required.
    • Ventilation supports aerobic composting and odour control.
    Best suited for

    Premium residential and lower-clearance installations

    • Couples and small families.
    • Larger households where additional chambers are specified.
    • Projects with only around 750mm of available underfloor clearance.
    • Bathrooms requiring a premium pedestal finish.
    • Sites where expandable batching capacity is desirable.
    Package includes

    CM HP system package

    • 2 × 120L dual-walled composting chambers.
    • Premium porcelain pedestal option and soft-close seat.
    • 550mm waste connecting chute.
    • 12V 5W ventilation fan in housing with transformer.
    • 125ml Nature Flush Enzymes Concentrate and spray bottle.
    • Microbiota MicrobeBURST™ Composting Additive.
    • Bulking agent.
    • DIY installation and maintenance manuals.
    Options

Configure the system around the site

    Additional chambers
Available to increase capacity or extend composting time.

Premium pedestal options, including urine-diverting configurations where appropriate.
    Heater pad
Optional heater assistance where specified during manufacture.
    Pedestal coating
Nano-ceramic non-stick coating option where selected.
    Good to know before purchase

The heater-pad option must be installed during manufacturing and cannot be retrofitted later. Where a urine-diverting pedestal is selected, system operation and compost hydration should be considered as part of the complete setup.
