Batching terminology

What out-of-service means

Out-of-service (OOS) refers to a chamber removed from the active toilet position and set aside so its contents can continue batch composting and maturation.

In-service refers to the chamber connected to the toilet fixture and currently receiving waste.

System-only component: additional OOS chambers are supplied for compatible WCTNZ® composting toilet systems and are not generic stand-alone waste chambers.

WCTNZ® is the exclusive authorised distributor of Clivus Multrum™ composting toilets in New Zealand. Genuine system components are supported through WCTNZ®.
