Batching terminology

What out-of-service means

Out-of-service (OOS) refers to a chamber that has been removed from the active toilet position and set aside so the composting material can continue its batch-composting and maturation stage.

In-service refers to the chamber currently connected to the toilet fixture and receiving waste.

System-only component: OOS chambers are supplied for compatible WCTNZ® composting toilet systems and are not sold as generic stand-alone waste chambers.

WCTNZ® is the exclusive authorised distributor of Clivus Multrum™ composting toilets in New Zealand. Clivus Multrum™ products supplied through WCTNZ® include the applicable product warranty and local product support.
