GreyFlow™ High level Audio & Visual Alarm Kit - with a 10m long Float Switch 

The GreyFlow™ High level Audio & Visual Alarm Kit is an optional safety accessory designed to provide early warning of pump failure or abnormal liquid levels in below-ground pits and chambers. When the level in the pump station rises above the normal operating range, the alarm activates to alert occupants or maintenance staff before overflow or flooding occurs.

This alarm kit is suited to GreyFlow™ PRO Pit, GreyFlow™ underground pump stations, and other compatible greywater, effluent and sewage pump pits where a high-level float alarm is recommended.

Key Features

High-level float alarm
Supplied with a dedicated float switch that triggers the alarm when the liquid level rises above the normal pump cut-in point.

Audio-visual alert
Panel includes a bright visual indicator and buzzer to provide a clear local warning of high level or pump fault condition.

Ideal for below-ground and remote pits
Recommended for basements, external underground chambers, tight access locations, and any pump station where overflow could damage buildings, landscaping or equipment.

Compatible with GreyFlow™ pump stations
Configured to suit GreyFlow™ pump station packages supplied by WCTNZ®, and can be considered for other small pump pits where the float and alarm ratings match system requirements.

Simple routine testing
Alarm can be function-tested periodically by raising the float, supporting ongoing maintenance and operational checks.

• Effluent pump chambers downstream of septic tanks or treatment plants
• Sumps and collection pits in basements, garages or plant rooms
• Remote or infrequently visited pump installations where visual inspection is limited

Installation & Compliance

Alarm kit must be wired and commissioned by a licensed electrician in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 and local electrical and plumbing requirements.

Mount the alarm panel in a visible, accessible location and route the float cable in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

The alarm does not replace regular inspection and maintenance of the pump station; it provides an additional layer of risk management.
