Confirm correct plumbing (inlet/overflow), power to the controller or pump, and that filters are seated. Verify dripline layout and valves, but do not connect the garden yet.
Fill the pit to trigger the float. Run the pump to flush out dirty water from the pit and filters until it runs clear (discharge to a temporary safe point), per manual guidance. This removes installation debris before the first irrigation cycle.
Connect the dripline manifold(s), open the manual flush valve, and confirm even sub-surface distribution in each station. Close the flush valve and observe 2–3 start/stop cycles. Label isolation valves and fit the required “Greywater in use” sign.
Tip: Keep a simple commissioning log—pit level, cycle times, and any air-purge steps—so owners and service techs know the baseline.
