Septic / treatment transfer pump station package
GreyFlow™ | WF-UPS320 Septic / Treatment Transfer Pump Station Package
A wastewater transfer pump station package for sites where raw wastewater must be lifted or transferred to an onsite septic tank, wastewater treatment system, sewer connection or higher-level drain.
This package is built around the GreyFlow™ WF-UPS320 pump station and is intended for projects where gravity fall is not available. It is focused on wastewater transfer rather than greywater reuse, grease separation or garden irrigation.

Grouped package selection
Built around the WF-UPS320 pump station
This is a focused pump station package page rather than a multi-product wastewater kit. The WF-UPS320 is the core product, with any required installation options selected through the product configuration or confirmed during project review.
A grease trap is not included as standard because this package is intended for raw wastewater transfer to an approved septic, treatment or sewer pathway. Grease management may still be considered separately where the upstream kitchen load or site design requires it.
Transfer pathway
Moving wastewater where gravity fall is not available
Primary function
Lift or transfer wastewater from a lower-level collection point to a higher-level sewer, septic tank, onsite treatment system or drain connection.
Common applications
Secondary dwellings, cabins, remote buildings, low-level fixtures, sleepouts, rural buildings or sites where the approved wastewater system is uphill or far away.
System type
Pump station / transfer station pathway. WCTNZ® uses “pump station” as the safer general term because the final function depends on the discharge point, site levels and wastewater design.
Discharge pathway
To an approved septic tank, onsite wastewater treatment system, sewer mains connection or other approved discharge point confirmed by the project design.
Why choose this package?
A simple pathway for septic and treatment transfer
- Designed for sites where gravity drainage cannot reach the approved wastewater destination.
- Useful where a dwelling, cabin, bathroom, laundry or service area sits below or away from the septic, treatment or sewer connection.
- Keeps the package focused on transfer to an approved wastewater system, rather than greywater reuse or irrigation.
- Provides a clearer product pathway for customers who need to pump wastewater uphill or across distance.
No grease trap included
Why this package does not include grease separation
This package is different from the WF-UPS250 wastewater pump station package with large grease trap protection. The WF-UPS320 transfer package is intended to move wastewater to an approved septic tank, onsite treatment system or sewer connection, where kitchen wastewater is already part of the approved downstream pathway.
Grease management note: A grease trap is not included as standard. If the upstream kitchen load, commercial use, pipe layout or pump station service risk requires grease management, WCTNZ® can help assess whether a separate Passway™ grease trap should be added.
Project review
Confirm head, distance and discharge point
Before selecting a pump station, the site should be reviewed for vertical lift, pipe length, wastewater source, fixture load, pump location, electrical supply, alarm requirements, access-cover loading and the final discharge point.
Site suitability note: Final pump station selection depends on wastewater source, pumping head, pipe length, discharge point, access-cover loading, electrical supply, alarm location and local authority requirements. This package provides a practical product pathway, but site-specific approval, plumbing connections, electrical work and installation are not included unless separately scoped.
NZ Building Code and council review: WCTNZ® can provide product information, technical documentation and consent-support information for customers, designers, builders, plumbers and wastewater professionals reviewing a wastewater pump station or transfer pathway.
Next step
Check the pump station pathway before ordering
Because pump stations depend heavily on site levels and discharge pathway, WCTNZ® recommends confirming the basic site details before ordering.
- Where is the pump station collecting wastewater from?
- Where does the wastewater need to be pumped to?
- What is the estimated vertical lift and pipe distance?
- Is the discharge point septic, treatment plant, sewer mains or another approved connection?
- Will the pump station require alarm, trafficable cover or special access details?
