Greywater Diversion Systems (GWDD Greywater Diversion Device) intercept laundry, shower and basin water before it reaches the mains sewer, onsite septic system or greywater treatment system. In diversion mode they send greywater to approved subsurface land-application systems, typically within 24 hours of production to minimise storage time and odour risk.
When diversion is turned off (for winter, wet periods or maintenance) or if a fault occurs, these devices automatically divert greywater back to the connected sewer, septic or greywater treatment line so it can be disposed of or treated correctly.
See Greywater Irrigation Systems – Drippers for land-application system hardware options.
