Based on the KL2 Accessible Building, this version includes the addition of an independent urinal stall. That extra stall increases user capacity, reduces the risk of queues, and improves convenience in high-traffic locations where fast turnover and a better user experience matter.

How this system works

The dry toilet system inside the building uses the natural power of the sun and wind to evaporate liquids and dehydrate solids. This creates an odourless, self-contained solution with no effluent discharge, making it suitable for environmentally sensitive sites where conventional wastewater systems are difficult, undesirable, or not permitted.

Because the waste volume is reduced significantly through drying and dehydration, servicing requirements remain comparatively low for a public facility of this type.

A stronger layout for busy sites

The addition of the urinal stall is not just a convenience feature. It allows a high-frequency use type to be separated from the accessible toilet cubicle, helping the building perform better during busy periods and reducing bottlenecks at peak times.

The vandal-resistant polyethylene urinal is directly connected to the Kazuba™ toilet system via PVC piping, maintaining hygienic, waterless, and effluent-free operation while increasing practical user capacity.

The building uses a galvanised steel frame with Thermowood® pine cladding, combining long-term durability with a natural appearance that sits comfortably in public parks, reserves, beaches, and other outdoor environments.
