A contained alternative to an absorption trench

The Nature Clear Zero Discharge system collects excess liquid from the composting toilet chamber rather than sending it directly to a conventional absorption trench.

The Low Volume Manual version is designed around a compact collection well and manual return pump, making it suitable where a straightforward closed-loop liquid-management pathway is required.

Gravity collection with manual recirculation

• Excess liquid drains from the composting chamber into the collection well by gravity.
• The collection well stores the liquid below the composting system.
• A manual pump returns the collected liquid through the 19mm return line.
• The return fitting discharges liquid back onto the compost pile near the chute.
• Recirculation assists the system's evaporation and liquid-management process.

Connect the collection well to the composting chamber

The installation uses a 25mm liquid connection from the composting chamber to the collection well and a 19mm return line back to the chamber.
