Nature Loo™ uses a simple, proven composting approach that keeps bathrooms fresh and maintenance predictable. A modern-style pedestal connects to a composting chamber (either self-contained in the pedestal housing or installed under-floor as a split system). A low-watt fan draws room air down through the bowl and out the vent stack, continuously supplying oxygen to the compost, carrying off water vapour, and preventing odours from entering the room. Inside the chamber, aerobic organisms break down paper and solids into a stable, soil-like material over time. The design prioritises airflow, carbon balance, and easy service access—so owners focus on use, not troubleshooting.
NL3 (on-floor / self-contained) — NL3 places the active composting chamber inside the pedestal, making installs compact and fast. Change-outs are simple: when the chamber approaches the fill mark, swap it for a spare and let the full chamber mature.
Alectura™ Comfort & Premium (split / under-floor) — A conventional pedestal on the floor drops via a straight chute to an under-floor chamber. You service the chamber from a utility space, keep the bathroom fully conventional, and rotate chambers as needed for capacity.
Homes & lifestyle: Off-grid homes, baches, cabins, tiny houses, eco-residences—anywhere water is precious and power is limited. Owners get a normal bathroom look, low running costs, and simple routines.
Small commercial & tourism: Light-to-moderate use facilities such as huts, glamping, studios, and small amenities blocks. Predictable change-out cycles and easy vent/fan checks make Nature Loo™ a practical choice for operators who want waterless sanitation without complexity.
