    Product background

    Small-format grease management

The Passway™ M-43F is suited to smaller kitchen applications where fats, oils and grease need to be intercepted before wastewater enters drainage, septic, greywater or wastewater treatment systems.

Lower-density FOG rises within the chamber while heavier material can settle. Internal baffles and the protected outlet reduce direct carry-over into downstream pipework.

The outlet remains wastewater. The M-43F reduces FOG and retained solids but does not produce potable, purified or disinfected water.
    Best suited for

    Compact kitchens and lower-load sites

    • Domestic kitchens requiring source grease control.
    • Staff kitchens and shared facilities.
    • Small cafés and light food-preparation areas where the calculated loading suits the separator.
    • Sites where installation space is limited.
    • Kitchen wastewater feeding downstream septic, greywater or treatment systems.
Compact size does not establish suitability by itself. Select the M-43F from the connected fixtures, peak flow, grease and solids loading, connection configuration and required service interval.

    Independent product evidence

Passway™ BS EN 1825-1 test programme

The Passway™ grease-separator range is supported by independent testing against BS EN 1825-1.

The M-43F forms part of that tested range. The exact nominal-size rating, laboratory flow configuration and numerical performance result should be matched to the model-specific test evidence when required for a consent, network or technical-submission purpose.

WCTNZ® does not apply the M-43D or M-43E numerical test result to the M-43F. Model-specific technical evidence controls where an exact laboratory result is required.
    New Zealand compliance

    Compact separator assessed on performance

The M-43F is smaller than the minimum physical volume used by the prescriptive G13/AS2 grease-trap Acceptable Solution.

Where the prescriptive Acceptable Solution is not followed, applicable BS EN 1825-1 evidence may form part of a project-specific Alternative Solution together with suitable sizing, plumbing, drainage, installation and maintenance information.

Building-consent, wastewater-network and trade-waste requirements must be checked for the proposed installation.
    WCTNZ® support

    Passway™ product and technical guidance

WCTNZ® supplies and supports Passway™ grease-management products in New Zealand and can provide product information and practical selection support for proposed installations.
