Phoenix™ PF-199 is the compact, low-profile Public Facility (Automatic) variant of the Phoenix™ Composting Toilet—engineered for small public amenities where space is tight but uptime and hygiene can’t be compromised: trailheads, pocket parks, lookouts, small carparks, boat ramps, and satellite pods. Built with a thick cross-linked polyethylene chamber, stainless hardware, and continuous ventilation, PF-199 delivers the same Phoenix™ biology and odour control as larger models in a smaller footprint that fits tight plant rooms and low sub-floors.
Capacity
Vistor Rating: day-visitor daily average (28/person/day). Short surges are typically tolerated at ~30% above day-visitor daily average.
Public/day-visitor use: single-use/day-visitor throughput guidance provided by WCTNZ® based on site profile (hourly peaks, climate, venting).
Peaks: short surges (events/holiday weekends) are typically manageable when designed and serviced to plan.
Scaling strategy: deploy multiple PF-199 units side-by-side for distributed stalls; plan clear service access for mixing and annual removal.
Features
Odourless operation: continuous 12 V fan maintains negative pressure through the chute and vent stack—fresh interiors even during peaks.
Automatic public-facility package: spray/recirculation system with robust controls; service-friendly access doors; vandal-resistant hardware.
Mixing system: heavy stainless rake/tine geometry built for public-facility duty.
Built to last: cross-linked polyethylene chamber with stainless fasteners withstands coastal exposure and seasonal extremes.
Flexible interfaces: waterless dry toilet via Ø310 mm vertical chute, or micro-flush / vacuum-flush where layout requires offsets or same-floor runs.
Serviceable design: annual compost removal via the lower access door; straightforward checks for fan, vent, drains, and spray.
Low energy demand: ~5 W continuous—simple to run from solar/battery systems in remote sites.
Bathroom Fixture options
- Waterless dry toilet via 12" (~310 mm) vertical chute for the simplest, lowest-maintenance install. (ZERO DISCHARGE SYSTEM)
- Micro-flush (≈0.5 L) or vacuum-flush options where architectural layouts need offsets or same-floor runs.
Applications
Trailheads, pocket parks, lookouts, boat ramps, small carparks.
Glamping villages / eco-pods (visitor use) and satellite amenities near café/retail forecourts.
Sites transitioning from chemical/bucket toilets to a permanent, low-odour public solution.
Why Phoenix™
Where water is limited and reliability matters, Phoenix™ keeps public amenities clean, quiet, and odour-free. The hard work happens out of sight in a rugged chamber built to run for years. Phoenix’s™ composting turns waste into a stable, manageable material, so operators service less and worry less. From single kiosks to multi-stall blocks, the platform scales without drama. Choose waterless simplicity or pair with low-flush to suit the building. Low power, straightforward servicing, field-proven performance—Phoenix™ is the solid choice for public facilities where downtime isn’t an option.
Best for distributed stalls and satellite blocks—deploy PF-199 singly or in pairs for day-visitor sites that need reliable uptime and simple service access.
