Phoenix™ R-200 is the all-rounder in the Phoenix™ Composting Toilet range—big enough for small homes, eco-stays, and moderate-throughput facilities, yet compact and simple to service. It delivers proven Phoenix™ composting performance with robust construction, dependable odour control, and flexible bathroom interfaces to match real-world layouts.
Capacity
Residential rating: 4 persons continuous use (assume ~6 uses/person/day).
Day-visitor/public: single-use guidance available; short peaks (e.g., holiday gatherings) are typically manageable at ~30% above the day-visitor daily average.
Scaling up: for sustained higher throughput, deploy a second R-200 or step up to R-201.
Features
Odourless operation: a continuous 12 V fan maintains negative pressure through the chute and vent stack—fresh bathrooms even at higher loads.
Mixing: heavy stainless rake/mixing tines geometry—built for commercial reality.
Built to last: cross-linked polyethylene chamber and stainless hardware withstand commercial environments and seasonal extremes.
Flexible interfaces: dry toilet via 310mmDia vertical chute, or micro-flush/vacuum-flush where falls or distances demand it—interfaces to suit architecture, fall constraints, and user expectations.
Serviceable design: annual compost removal via the lower access door; straightforward checks for fan, vent, drains, and spray system.
Low energy demand: ~5 W continuous—simple to run from solar/battery systems.
Bathroom Fixture options
- Waterless dry toilet via 12" (~310 mm) vertical chute for the simplest, lowest-maintenance install. (ZERO DISCHARGE SYSTEM)
- Micro-flush (≈0.5 L) or vacuum-flush options where architectural layouts need offsets or same-floor runs.
Applications
Eco-lodges, DOC-style accommodation, camp kitchens, staff amenities, community sites.
Remote homesteads and lifestyle properties looking for a reliable, low-maintenance system with minimal water use.
Projects transitioning from chemical toilets to a permanent, low-odour solution.
