Split-Systems (Under Floor) use a conventional-looking pedestal in the bathroom connected to a larger composting or treatment chamber located under the floor or on a lower level. Separating the pedestal from the chamber increases capacity, reduces emptying frequency and keeps the composting mass well away from the living space.
These systems are well suited to full-time homes, baches and lifestyle blocks where under-floor or basement space is available and long service intervals are a priority.
The Sun-Mar Centrex system range is a split system, also known as an underfloor model. This means that the holding chamber is separate from the actual toilet pedestal itself. The major advantage of these systems is that they allow for greater holding capacity and therefore tend to be lower maintenance. If you have below-floor space for installation, then this is the range for you.
