Please select the primary pedestal (toilet fixture) option you would like to accompany your composting system.

Note; that the Urine-Diversion (UD) pedestal option is most suitable where there is high use in peek or large family gatherings.

Note; that with Urine Diversion, it is recommended that the compost mass is kept wet to avoid the pile drying out. Consider getting the hand-held bidet sprayer accessory for facilitating the hydration of compost.

A hardwearing Nano-Ceramic Non-Stick Coating is applied onto the inner side of the Pedestal (toilet fixture) for maximum cleanliness.

Note; basic cleaning will still be required.

Note; non-stick is hydrophobic and repels liquids only.

Choose the fan voltage to match your power system.

ABS pipe (US spec) is supplied with the toilet. This is suitable for straight horizontal vent stacks.

If you'd like to adapt the unit to NZ pipe, please select this kit. You will need NZ pipe if you're looking to create elbows and bends.

You may need additional vent materials depending on how many storeys your building has.

Single Storey buildings with a high-profile roof (A frame or mono-pitch) require extra lengths of vent pipe - add one 800mm Vent Pipe Extension

Double Storey buildings require extra lengths of vent pipe. Please add 4 x 1m Vent Pipe Extensions.

Double Storey building with a high-profile roof (A frame or mono-pitch) require extra lengths of vent pipe - add one 800mm Vent Pipe Extension

Kit for stepping the vent stack around the eaves of the roof. Allows you to avoid penetrating the roof.

A wind-driven vent offers the best redundancy for your system ventilation. The wind-driven vent will assist the fan under heavy wind conditions, keeping the system operational in the event of a power outage or fan failure.
SharkVent™ | Wind Ventilator has high efficiency with a linear wind direction windvane (good for storm-prone areas).
Universal Vent ACC | Wind-Driven Vent has high efficiency in low windage. 2 colours: white or black.

Select this reducing collar to adapt the vent from 150mm to 100mm.

Select this reducing collar to adapt the vent from 150mm to 100mm.

Select this reducing collar to adapt the vent from 150mm to 100mm.

Extend your soft connection leachate drainpipe to reach your hard connection leachate drainpipe or soak-pit/trench.

Soft connections allow for flexible placement of the composting tank in relation to a hard connection or drain.

The system is packed with 1 meter of 25mm leachate drainpipe as a standard.

Extend your leachate drain via in-ground hard connection to reach your soak-pit/trench (soak-away).

Most soak-aways should be installed 3 meters away from the foundations of the structure but this remains circumstantial to the site.

Run your leachate drain into a soak pit (vertical soak-away) or into a trench (horizontal soak-away).

    Product background

Larger composting capacity for bigger off-grid sites

The longer Centrex 3000 chamber is positioned above the 2000-series where greater composting volume is required.

    How it works

    Receive, progress and collect

    Stage 1 Receive

Waste falls directly from the waterless pedestal into the longer Centrex 3000 BioDrum™ below the bathroom floor.

    Stage 2 Compost & progress

BioDrum™ rotation mixes the composting material and progressively moves it along the length of the drum while ventilation manages airflow and moisture.

    Stage 3 Collect

Material reaches the auto-drop end of the drum and falls into the separate collection housing for removal.

    Non-electric operation

Ventilation and drainage in place of powered heating

    • No chamber heating unit.
    • Waterless pedestal configuration.
    • 100mm ventilation pathway.
    • Low-voltage fan assists airflow and odour control.
    • Overflow drainage manages excess liquid not removed by evaporation.
    Certification

    NSF and AS/NZS certification evidence

    NSF/ANSI 41 — Non-Liquid Saturated Treatment Systems

The supplied Sun-Mar™ material identifies independent performance certification under the NSF pathway.

    AS/NZS 1546.2:2008 — Waterless composting toilets

    SAI Global Licence Number: SMKH25591

    Centrex 2000 or Centrex 3000?

The Centrex 3000 provides the larger chamber and higher stated residential capacity. The Centrex 2000 may be more appropriate where expected loading is lower.

    Before you choose, think:

    1. Your place — tiny home, bach, family home, RV, or public site

    2. Your building — whether it suits a self-contained or split composting toilet system

    3. Your needs — user numbers, maintenance preferences, and how off-grid you want to be

To narrow it down properly, start with the Composting Toilet Guide.
