Designed for 1 to 2 people full-time and up to 4 part-time, the Sun-Mar™ Compact 240 is a low-profile self-contained composting toilet suited to baches, sleep-outs, cabins, and similar locations where reliable power is available.
Featuring Sun-Mar’s™ patented Bio-drum™ technology, the Compact is a true composting system that processes compost in two stages within the unit itself. Its low-profile format was designed to retain a clean bathroom look while still delivering staged composting performance.

NSF/ANSI 41 Standard — Non-Liquid Saturated Treatment Systems
This system is certified for liquid containment, odours, and solid end products.
Testing is conducted for 6 months at an NSF-recognised, independent testing laboratory under a strict protocol. To be certified, the unit must operate odour-free at maximum capacity and produce clean, safe compost.
