Product background

A different pathway from Sun-Mar™ BioDrum™ composting

GTG is not the same type of system as Sun-Mar™ Spacesaver, Compact or Excel.

Those toilets use BioDrum™ technology to process compost within the toilet. GTG instead separates liquid and solid waste into dedicated containment chambers for subsequent servicing and appropriate onward management.

How it works

Separate, contain and ventilate

Stage 1 Separate

Urine is directed into the removable liquid chamber while solid waste enters the separate solids chamber.

Stage 2 Contain

The two waste streams remain separately contained inside the toilet for removal and appropriate onward management.

Stage 3 Ventilate

The 12V ventilation fan maintains airflow through the toilet to help manage moisture and odour.

The supplied GTG product information identifies the 8L urine bottle as providing four days of liquid self-containment for two people.

Additional compatible bottles can be carried to extend onboard liquid-storage capacity, provided filled bottles are stored safely until an appropriate disposal facility is available.

Green Sticker compliant: the supplied GTG product information identifies the system for the New Zealand self-contained vehicle pathway under the applicable self-contained vehicle requirements.
