Sun-Mar™ composting where bathroom space is limited

Spacesaver 240 is intended for tiny homes, sleep-outs, sheds, cabins and baches where available bathroom space is limited and expected user numbers remain relatively low.

It keeps the composting, evaporation and finishing functions together within one compact self-contained unit.

How it works

Compost, evaporate and finish within one compact system

Stage 1 Compost

Waste and bulking material enter the BioDrum™, where rotation mixes and aerates the composting material.

Stage 2 Manage moisture

Powered fan ventilation supports airflow and evaporation while the emergency drain provides overflow protection.

Stage 3 Finish

Compost progresses into the finishing drawer before final removal from the toilet.

Capacity note: if two people will use the toilet full-time, the Compact 240 is the more appropriate Sun-Mar™ model from this on-floor range.

NSF/ANSI 41 — Non-Liquid Saturated Treatment Systems

The supplied Spacesaver information identifies six months of maximum-capacity NSF testing with odour and finished-compost performance requirements.

Sun-Mar™ electrical features are identified as CSA certified under file number LR55925.
