The ventilator fits directly onto 150mm PVC pipe and can be adapted to suit 100mm or 50mm vent pipes using the appropriate reducing adaptor.

Passive extraction for off-grid vent systems

Wind-driven ventilation can support non-powered composting toilet vent systems and provide passive airflow when suitable wind is available.

It can also provide supplementary airflow alongside another ventilation method, subject to the design of the complete vent system.

The ventilator is designed to fit directly onto 150mm PVC pipe.

100mm PVC

Requires the matching 150mm-to-100mm reducing adaptor.

50mm PVC

Requires the matching reducing adaptor selected through Product Options.

Adaptor required: The ventilator does not fit directly onto 100mm or 50mm pipe. Select the correct adaptor in Product Options before ordering.

Ventilation-design note: Wind-driven ventilators are dependent on available wind and the performance of the complete vent route. Pipe diameter, vent height, bends, nearby buildings and local wind exposure all affect passive airflow.
