    uridan Technology

    uridan - New Zealand

uridan waterless urinals are built around a clear idea: let gravity and smart chemistry do the work – not water, power or moving parts.

The result is a quiet, odour-free urinal that looks refined, installs cleanly and saves large volumes of drinking water every year.

    The uridan trap & uriLOCK®

At the heart of every uridan bowl is a specially designed trap filled with uriLOCK® blocking fluid.

    • Urine flows through the trap into the waste line.
    • uriLOCK®, which is lighter than urine, floats on top and forms a liquid seal.
    • This seal blocks odours from the pipework while still letting new urine pass through.

Because the seal is a fluid, there are no valves, solenoids or sensors to fail or stick open.

No water. No power. Less to go wrong.

    uridan fixtures are:

    • Waterless – no cisterns, flush pipes or flush controls.
    • Non-electric – no power supply required for flushing or sensing.
    • Quiet – no flush noise, no cistern refilling.

For designers and installers this means cleaner wall lines, fewer services and more freedom in how washrooms are planned. For building owners it means fewer components to maintain and replace over the life of the fit-out.

    Designed for simple, repeatable maintenance

The technology is matched to a small family of consumables:

    • uriCLEAN® for daily spray-and-wipe bowl cleaning.
    • uriLOCK® top-ups to maintain the liquid seal.
    • uriSTRONG® and uriTABS® for periodic deep cleaning of traps and pipework.

A short, repeatable routine keeps the system performing as designed, without complicated service procedures.

    Supported locally

WCTNZ® provides New Zealand-specific guidance on specifying, installing and maintaining uridan technology, so projects here can rely on the same performance that designers expect overseas.
