    Nova Mix 40 is WCTNZ’s® carbon-rich bulking blend for the Bionova Cabin Series.

    Nova Mix 40 is purpose-made for use with the Bionova Cabin and Bionova Cabin Plus self-contained composting toilets. It helps absorb moisture, keeps airflow moving through the composting mass, and supports clean, low-odour operation in NZ conditions.

    How to use

    Initial setup
    Prepare the starter bed in accordance with the Bionova Cabin Series User Manual, using Nova Mix 40 as your base bulking material.
    Ongoing use
    Add a small amount of Nova Mix 40 after solid deposits to keep the composting mass carbon-rich and able to breathe.
    Heavier use
    If your site has periods of heavier use, such as weekends or school holidays, you may need to top up more often.
    Wet material
    If the material ever looks too wet, increase bulking addition and check your venting is clear.
    Storage
    Store sealed, dry, and out of direct sunlight. Close the bag firmly between uses.
