    WCTNZ® OPSC™ Community Forums

    Private OPSC™ customer community

    WCTNZ® OPSC™ Community Forums

A controlled customer discussion space for registered WCTNZ® operators to share experience, practical operating knowledge and real-world lessons from composting toilet and waterless system ownership.

Forum access is a privilege for active OPSC™ customers and approved registered users. The forum is not an open public social media group and is not the official WCTNZ® support record.

    Purpose of the WCTNZ® forums

The WCTNZ® OPSC™ Community Forums are intended to build a practical knowledge base for current and future operators. Customers can share operating routines, seasonal lessons, maintenance experience, consumable use, site observations and general tips that may help other registered users.

Official support matters, warranty assessments, private account matters, urgent safety issues and technical cases requiring staff handling must still be managed through WCTNZ®’s approved support channels.

    Good uses for the forum

    Asking general system-use questions

    Discussing maintenance routines and consumables

Sharing seasonal lessons from baches, tiny homes, lifestyle blocks and off-grid sites

Do not use the forum for

    • Urgent support or safety issues
    • Warranty claims or product fault approval
    • Private account, payment or invoice matters
    • Posting addresses, phone numbers, invoices or private documents
    • Legal, engineering, plumbing, drainlaying or council advice

    Community rules

    1. Be respectful. Communicate politely and professionally. How we communicate can be just as important as the message being shared.
    2. Keep it constructive. Share experience, questions and lessons in a way that helps the wider operator community.
    3. No abusive language or personal attacks. Swearing, harassment, threats, discrimination, bullying and aggressive behaviour are not acceptable.
    4. Protect privacy. Do not share private contact details, account information, invoices, addresses, council documents, photos with identifying information, or another person’s private information.
    5. Do not give unsafe advice. Avoid instructions that could create a health, hygiene, building, drainage, electrical, legal or environmental risk.
    6. Stay on topic. Keep discussions relevant to WCTNZ® supplied systems, operation, maintenance, consumables, customer experience and practical site use.
    7. Use the right support channel. If a matter needs staff handling, warranty assessment, account review or technical case management, contact WCTNZ® directly.

    Moderation notice

WCTNZ® may moderate, move, edit, close, hide or remove forum content where needed to protect customers, staff, privacy, safety, product accuracy, legal obligations, or the purpose of the forum. Access may be suspended or removed for misuse.

    Forum support boundary

The forum is a customer knowledge-sharing space. It does not replace OPSC™ phone support, paid support bookings, warranty assessment, written support, product manuals, installation requirements, or WCTNZ® support policies.

    Customer discussion

Customer posts are experience-sharing only. They may be useful, but they are not official WCTNZ® technical advice unless clearly provided by WCTNZ® in an official support context.

    Official support

Official support interactions should be handled through the approved WCTNZ® support pathways, including written support, OPSC™ phone support, paid phone bookings, warranty assessment, testing and repair, or commercial support plans where applicable.

    Council, consent and approval discussions

Customers may share personal experience with site approvals, consent pathways and council processes, but forum posts must not be treated as legal, engineering, plumbing, drainlaying or council advice. Always confirm requirements with the appropriate professional or authority for your site.

    Need WCTNZ® support instead?

If your matter is urgent, private, warranty-related, account-related, or requires staff review, please use the correct WCTNZ® support pathway rather than posting it in the forum.
