Connected secondary dwelling package
WCTNZ® | Rural Secondary Dwelling Wastewater Package (Connected)
A connected rural secondary dwelling wastewater package for sites where a small dwelling, cabin, sleepout or granny flat uses a Nature Loo™ Alectura Premium toilet-waste pathway and connects to an existing septic system, onsite treatment plant or sewer mains.
This package is built around the connected pathway: backflush and heavier wastewater remain on an approved wastewater connection, while recoverable greywater is diverted through the GreyFlow™ PS-AG Automatic range for onsite reuse.

Why these products are grouped
A higher-spec connected secondary dwelling pathway
- Adds the missing toilet-waste pathway so this is a full connected secondary dwelling wastewater package.
- Uses the Nature Loo™ Alectura Premium for the higher-spec toilet pathway.
- Designed for connected rural projects where the septic, sewer or treatment pathway already exists or can be extended.
- Lets the project recover greywater onsite while preserving the approved wastewater connection for backflush and heavier wastewater.
- Explains why the automatic backflush must remain connected to sewer, septic or treatment.
Site and consent context
Final suitability remains project-specific
Connection requirement: Connection options are confirmed against the existing sewer, septic or onsite treatment pathway. The automatic backflush must discharge to an approved wastewater connection, while the recovered greywater is directed to a suitable subsurface land-application field.
No standard grease trap: A grease trap is not included as standard because kitchen wastewater and backflush are assumed to remain connected to the approved septic, treatment or sewer pathway. Grease management can be added if the site design requires it.
