SharkVent™ | Wind Ventilator

The SharkVent™ is a wind-powered ventilator designed to enhance airflow in passive ventilation systems without the use of electricity. Its 360° wind-tracking hood and venturi-enhanced design optimise air extraction while preventing backdrafts. The fin-shaped hood improves aerodynamic performance and provides effective protection against weather ingress.

The ventilator operates only when wind is present, which reduces wear on bearings compared to constantly spinning turbine vents, resulting in improved durability and lower maintenance requirements.

SharkVent is constructed with UV-stabilised and corrosion-resistant materials to ensure reliable operation in harsh outdoor environments, including high UV exposure, hail, and strong winds. An integrated vermin barrier prevents birds, rodents, and debris from entering the vent system while maintaining free airflow.

A counterweight mechanism maintains alignment with wind direction and prevents overspinning in gusty conditions.
