All Micro Flush Sun-Mar systems are down rated user capacity by one user.

With the use of Micro Flush Systems a large soakaway is needed (2000mmL x 1000mmW x 800mmD)

    Sun-Mar Microflush Pedestal Models 510 & 511

Model 510 is a standard height toilet model with regular sized seats allowing for ease of use.

Model 511 is a low profile model allowing for raised floor setups when fall on waste pipe is a problem and is a great option for children to keep their feet on the ground.

The Sun-Mar centrex systems can take upto 4 Micro Flush Pedestals

Add a wind-driven vent to create redundancy. The wind-driven vent will assist the fan under heavy wind conditions, keeping the system operational in the event of a power outage or fan failure.

Select this reducing collar to adapt the vent from 150mm to 100mm.

Select this reducing collar adaptor to reduce the pipe further, from 100mm to 50mm. Compatible with this system.

Note: to reduce to 50mm, the 100mm adaptor above is also required - leave selected.

Note: systems with 50mm piping will require a mounting stay (not supplied).

Extend your soft connection leachate drainpipe to reach your hard connection leachate drainpipe or soak-pit/trench.

Soft connections allow for flexible placement of the composting tank in relation to a hard connection or drain.

The system is packed with 1 meter of 25mm leachate drainpipe as a standard.

Extend your leachate drain via in-ground hard connection to reach your soak-pit/trench (soak-away).

Most soak-aways should be installed 3 meters away from the foundations of the structure but this remains circumstantial to the site.

Run your leachate drain into a soak pit (vertical soak-away) or into a trench (horizontal soak-away).

    Sun-Mar™ | Centrex 2000 - M/F (Micro Flush) 240

Perfect for medium to heavy seasonal or light residential use, the Centrex 2000 M/F 240 gives you a longer composting cycle and a larger compost volume than smaller systems, while allowing a micro flush pedestal arrangement.

Featuring Sun-Mar’s™ patented Bio-drum™ technology, the Centrex is a true composting system that processes compost in two stages within the unit itself. The 240V M/F version is the electric micro flush model, designed to give users a flush-style interface while still moving waste into a larger underfloor composting chamber.

When used seasonally by up to 7–9 adults, compost will normally only need removal annually each spring. When used residentially by up to 4 adults, some compost will need to be emptied into the finishing drawer once every few months.

    Capacity and Best Fit

    • Holiday / seasonal use: up to 7–9 adults
    • Residential use: up to 4 adults
    • Best suited to: underfloor micro flush installations where reliable 240V power is available

Capacity note: Listed capacities refer to the number of people, on average, using the unit per day. Do not pick a unit that is below your real use case.

    How this system works

The Centrex 2000 M/F 240 is the electric micro flush version of the Centrex 2000 range. Waste is transferred into the composter by the micro flush pedestal, while the underfloor chamber uses Sun-Mar’s™ staged composting process to manage and mature the material.

The electric version benefits from a stronger evaporation process due to the larger heating element and increased evaporating-chamber surface area. This improves performance compared with the non-electric model where liquid management relies more heavily on drainage.

The unit is supplied with a 1" drain hose which should be connected to the 1" drain at the bottom of the unit. A 50mm vent and low-voltage fan help to ensure that odours are dispelled with minimal electrical draw.

    Performance Certification
