You may need additional vent materials depending on how many storeys your building has.

Single Storey buildings with a high-profile roof (A frame or mono-pitch) require extra lengths of vent pipe - add one 800mm Vent Pipe Extension

Double Storey buildings require extra lengths of vent pipe. Please add 4 x 1m Vent Pipe Extensions.

Double Storey building with a high-profile roof (A frame or mono-pitch) require extra lengths of vent pipe - add one 800mm Vent Pipe Extension

Kit for stepping the vent stack around the eaves of the roof. Allows you to avoid penetrating the roof.

A wind-driven vent offers the best redundancy for your system ventilation. The wind-driven vent will assist the fan under heavy wind conditions, keeping the system operational in the event of a power outage or fan failure.
SharkVent™ | Wind Ventilator has high efficiency with a linear wind direction windvane (good for storm-prone areas).
Universal Vent ACC | Wind-Driven Vent has high efficiency in low windage. 2 colours: white or black.

Select this reducing collar to adapt the vent from 150mm to 100mm.

Extend your soft connection leachate drainpipe to reach your hard connection leachate drainpipe or soak-pit/trench.

Soft connections allow for flexible placement of the composting tank in relation to a hard connection or drain.

The system is packed with 1 meter of 25mm leachate drainpipe as a standard.

Extend your leachate drain via in-ground hard connection to reach your soak-pit/trench (soak-away).

Most soak-aways should be installed 3 meters away from the foundations of the structure but this remains circumstantial to the site.

Run your leachate drain into a soak pit (vertical soak-away) or into a trench (horizontal soak-away).

    Sun-Mar™ non-electric micro-flush underfloor composting system

    Sun-Mar™ | Centrex 2000 NE — Micro Flush

A non-electric underfloor Centrex system combining larger composting capacity with the more familiar interface of a micro-flush pedestal.

    Product background

    Split-system composting with a micro-flush pedestal

The Centrex chamber remains below the bathroom floor while the micro-flush pedestal transfers waste into the composting system.

This avoids the direct straight-fall requirement of an Air Flow installation.

    How it works

    Transfer, compost and collect

    Stage 1 Transfer

The micro-flush pedestal transfers waste into the underfloor Centrex chamber, providing greater flexibility in pedestal position than Air Flow.

Stage 2 Compost & manage moisture

BioDrum™ rotation mixes and aerates the composting material. Ventilation supports moisture removal while the drain manages excess liquid.

    Stage 3 Finish & collect

Material leaving the BioDrum™ moves through the Centrex 2000 collection pathway into the finishing tray for removal.

    Ventilation and drainage

Low-power support for the non-electric chamber

    • 4-inch / approximately 100mm vent stack.
    • Optional 12V ventilation fan.
    • Fan support is recommended for heavier seasonal or residential use.
    • Fan support can assist where downdraft or vent bends reduce natural airflow.
    • 1-inch drain hose connects to the chamber base drain.
    • Overflow drainage remains important because the chamber has no 240V heater.
    Capacity context

Strong seasonal capacity with more frequent residential servicing

The supplied product information positions this model for up to 7–9 adults during seasonal use.

Capacity note: listed capacities refer to average daily users. Do not deliberately select a Centrex chamber below the real expected use case.
    Certification

    NSF and AS/NZS certification evidence

    NSF/ANSI 41 — Non-Liquid Saturated Treatment Systems

The supplied certification material identifies independent performance testing under the NSF pathway.

    AS/NZS 1546.2:2008 — Waterless composting toilets

    SAI Global Licence Number: SMKH25591

NSF: What you need to know about composting toilets

    NE or 240V?

The NE model reduces electrical demand, while the powered Centrex 2000 Micro Flush 240 provides stronger active evaporation.

    Before you choose, think:

    1. Your place — tiny home, bach, family home, RV, or public site

    2. Your building — whether it suits a self-contained or split composting toilet system

    3. Your needs — user numbers, maintenance preferences, and how off-grid you want to be

To narrow it down properly, start with the Composting Toilet Guide.
