More self-contained capacity in the EcoLet™ automatic range
The 65a is the larger automatic model in this EcoLet™ family, using a 50L composting chamber compared with the 40L chamber identified for the 25a.
Urine and solids are managed together inside the system. Internal heating assists moisture evaporation while the automatic mixer maintains movement and aeration of the composting material.
The system is designed as a zero-leachate toilet, with liquid managed within the heated composting and evaporation process rather than through routine blackwater discharge.

What to plan for with the 65a
The 65a is a powered composting system. Electrical supply, ventilation and the correct operating setting are part of the complete installation.
The larger chamber gives the 65a greater stated user capacity than the 25a while retaining the same general heated and automatically mixed composting pathway.
Good to know before purchase
A starter pack is not included. Purchase the appropriate bulking agent and composting microbes separately.
Nature Quick microbes referenced in some overseas EcoLet™ material are not available in New Zealand.
Installation note: Do not expose the EcoLet™ toilet to full UV light.
